Larry J. Kolb

President US Operations

Larry Kolb is TSI's US Operations President. He co-founded the company in 1996 and has largely guided its rapid growth, visibility, and success. He is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day corporate operations, as well as, guiding the company's sales and marketing functions.

Larry is a veteran of the greater health care industry, having successfully directed sales and marketing strategies in the personal care, OTC, dietary supplement, and pharmaceutical segments in a variety of executive management roles, and has routinely participated in research, product development, finance, mergers, and acquisitions.

Previously, Larry was vice president of Charles Bowman & Company of Holland, Michigan, where he directed specific raw material sales and marketing strategies into the personal care, OTC and dietary supplement industries. He also held the position of sales and marketing manager for Nurture, Inc. in Missoula, Montana.

Larry holds a bachelor of sciences degree in finance from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.

Joe J. Zhou

President, Asian Operations

Joe Zhou is responsible for corporate business development.

Joe began his career with Amway Corporation in Ada, Michigan, as a research scientist in the company's research and development division. As one of the leading formulators, he was responsible for Amway's $300 million personal care products line worldwide.

Prior to forming TSI, Zhou was senior scientist for the research and development division of Avon Products in New York, where he was in charge of key skin care product projects for the company's U.S. and international markets.

The recipient of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists award and holder of two United States patents, Zhou has published several research papers in the area of cosmetic science and has been the keynote speaker at many international technical conferences.

Zhou graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology with a bachelor of engineering degree in chemical engineering. He received a master of sciences degree in chemistry from Bowling Green State University and a master of sciences degree in industrial pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati.
