Hello Everyone! I’m sorry you haven’t heard from me in a while - Adjusting to life as a new mommy has been exciting, but definitely a challenge.  Even though I have been busy, I have not been away from the gym or neglecting my nutrition and supplementation.

It has been 10 months since giving birth to my son Dante, (they aren’t kidding when they say it goes by fast!), and every day I am learning more about how to maintain my fitness routine as a new mother. Some days I feel very successful and rock it outdoing tummy time workouts and extreme stroller sprints! Other days I just want to stay home and cuddle my baby but instead drag through the day blurry eyed in a haze of diapers and applesauce.
Most days I do a good job by making use of the gym daycare and learning to be more efficient with my workouts (read: do NOT talk to me I have a time limit people!)
Staying on a meal plan hasn’t been easy and I have also streamlined my supplements as my body readjusts and my hormones stabilize, which trust me is no easy task. I have been sticking to the basics, including multi-vitamins, vitamin C (can’t ever be too careful when you have a child in daycare), fish oil, glutamine, HMB and of course PEAK ATP.

I absolutely love being a mom, but to me what makes a good mom is a happy woman. Which is why it’s so important for me to get my workouts in and continue to do what makes me happy. There are 24 hours in a day and there is nothing wrong with devoting one or two of them to your passion and overall health.
Stay tuned for more of my journey back to fit… Fit Mom Style!!!
