How PEAK ATP® Powers High-Intensity Performance and the Future of Sports Nutrition

TSI Group’s PEAK ATP® is featured in Nutritional Outlook’s latest eBook, Formulating for Sports and Active Nutrition, which discusses the role of ATP supplementation in high-intensity performance. The publication explains how PEAK ATP® functions within the ATP-CP energy system, supporting explosive efforts and short-duration power output.

Shawn Baier, President of Business Development at TSI Group, explains that PEAK ATP® and creatine both participate in the ATP-CP energy system, which fuels short bursts of high-intensity efforts.

The ATP-CP energy system is the body’s primary source of energy during short, high-intensity efforts such as sprinting, weightlifting, and jumping. While ATP is stored in muscle cells, it can deplete within a few seconds, PEAK ATP® provides an exogenous source of ATP, allowing for greater power output and sustained performance during anaerobic activity1,2.

Additionally, creatine works synergistically with PEAK ATP® to enhance muscle power, strength, and recovery. The combination of these two ingredients provides a complementary approach to maximizing energy availability in performance formulations.

PEAK ATP® is positioned as a key ingredient in pre-workout, strength, and endurance supplements, offering a scientifically validated way to optimize ATP production and energy metabolism.
